A modern addition to Mary Budden Estate, the lodge is built in harmony with the older colonial cottage. Elevated on the estate, it offers four separate en-suite rooms with two separate dining and sitting areas all equipped with fireplaces. Basked in sunlight, these rooms offer grand views and a promise of peace and tranquility.
Perhaps one of the most iconic temple complexes in northern India, Jageshwar has 101 temples dedicated to Shiva, made entirely of local stone and as the legend says, apparently constructed overnight.
On the way to Jageshwar are the last vestiges of a cave with ancient rock paintings and including handprints from that time.
